Characteristics

Story

In a hut, a woman is about to give birth and, between screams and heavy breathing, a speech is heard:

"The future mother has already been bathed in the Temazcal and has already taken the infusion of the Cihuapactli herb to push the creature out. Childbirth is her battle and she is ready to win it. She must fight with courage. And when she has won the battle, it will have captured a baby."

A Birth is to be celebrated and when it happens, these words are heard:

“This house where you were born, is an inn where you have arrived, it is your way out into this world. Here you sprout, here you flourish, here you separate from your mother.
"The baby will become a child, the child will become a youth, the youth will become an adult, and then the adult will die. This is the natural cycle of life and that is why we have come to earth. And when dying from natural causes, after From death the long road to Mictlán awaits."

Nine levels towards Mictlán, each one more challenging and difficult than the last. Only one's own effort, self-purification, detachment and offerings will open the way to the place of the dead.
